St. John's students learn about environment

Students at St. John the Baptist Catholic School in Vermillion attended an all-school assembly to participate in an interactive play called "Claudia vs. the Trashinator," presented by CLIMB Theatre. The educational and entertaining play reinforced the everyday living concepts of environmental respect, including waste reduction, reusing items and recycling trash. CLIMB Theatre, located in Inver Grove Heights, is a nationally recognized non-profit company that provides programming to K-12 schools. CLIMB Theatre's artists write, produce and present plays and drama classes on topics like bullying, self-control, respect, friendship, acceptance of differences, drug use prevention and the environment.
