Students participate in Mass

Faith plays a key role in the education curriculum at St. John the Baptist Catholic School. But classroom lessons are only one facet in this spiritual process. The other involves hands-on experience. This is achieved by enabling students -- beginning as early as kindergarten -- to actively participate in the Mass. These important roles strengthen their connection to Jesus and build confidence and self-esteem.

Father Stan, a firm believer in giving students the opportunity to participate, frequently schedules children's Masses, both during the week and on Sunday mornings. In addition, Father Stan also teaches religion class in all of the classrooms. Other special Masses/events include Ash Wednesday, Feast of St Blaze, Holy Days of Obligation, all-school Masses, Advent prayer services in school, Rosary devotion, seasonal reconciliation as a class and Stations of the Cross. These are unique and wonderful learning experiences for St. John's students.
