Working to feed others

St. John's students helped carry bags of nonperishable food items collected during Thanksgiving to a vehicle bound for the emergency food shelf run by the Franciscan Brothers of Peace in St. Paul. The community of religious brothers partners with St. John the Baptist each year to receive much-needed food for the homeless and outcast reached through their ministry. The order also works to assist men and women in crisis pregnancies, defend the rights of brain-injured and severely disabled persons, as well as the elderly and other vulnerable persons in danger of death by euthanasia, medical killing or care rationing.
