St. John the Baptist welcomes new teacher

St. John the Baptist Catholic School faculty, staff and families welcome Mrs. Melissa Dunlay as the school's new 5th/6th grade teacher. She brings a wealth of talents and experiences to our school community. Mrs. Dunlay grew up in Rochester, MN, where she attended Catholic schools through high school. She graduated from Iowa State University and recently completed her Master's degree in elementary education at the University of Minnesota, followed by a full-year of student teaching in White Bear Lake. Mrs. Dunlay has already hit the ground running and will begin to set up her classroom and prepare for students beginning August 25th. If you're in the area please stop by to introduce yourself. She will also be available during the all-school open house event on September 1st, 3-5 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. Welcome, Mrs. Dunlay! Mrs. Dunlay, above, receives keys to her new 5th/6th grade classroom at St. John the Baptist Catholic School from Principal Mike Strommen.
